Scholarship for the
Advancement of
Geriatric Specialists
At Fox, we believe that older adults deserve the best life possible regardless of past and current medical conditions. That is why we hire and support physical, occupational, and speech therapists who are committed to the cause of devoting their professional skills to this field.
All candidates for the Scholarship for the Advancement of Geriatric Specialists must be currently enrolled in an accredited Physical or Occupational Therapy program and be current APTA or AOTA members. Candidates must be eligible to receive scholarships for the final year of their educational program.
Scholarship Details
Scholarship to be awarded in May. Selected candidates will receive a $10,000 scholarship for their final year of education in exchange for an 18 month employment commitment with
Fox Rehabilitation.
Applications are accepted year-round. Superior candidates will be selected for an interview.

Application must include:
- Cover letter
- Curriculum vitae
- Three letters of recommendation
- Copy of transcript
- Description of clinical, volunteer, and / or work experience
- Evidence of 20 hours of
volunteer experience - Essay of 500 words on how your association's mission statement relates to the geriatric population
